Hello World

… is literally the first program assignment I ever had.

public class HelloWorld {
    public static void main(String args[]) {
      System.out.println("Hello World!");
    }
}

It was a short and sweet assignment that set me down the path to a career in tech.

This is not a tech blog. This is a blog meant to capture my interests, my learnings, how certain decisions lead me to where I am today. There is so much more to me than what I do! So why did I bring up my career? It’s because that’s what everyone asks and I can immediately answer.

What I’m trying to do with my blog is answer these questions instead: “What are your interests? Your hobbies?”

I’ve always shied away from these type of questions and gave some bland answer because I’ve been afraid to let people in. I didn’t want people to give me grief over my interests because it was like I gave them a part of me and they just laughed at it.

That ends here. Here I am, Internet. Here’s a part of me. I don’t want to keep living a small life. I am a person with interests and hobbies just like everyone else, and it’s okay for me to take space.

I like beauty, fashion, tech, anime, romance books, creating, learning, and weight lifting. I hope my words can be meaningful to you in some way.

xx
